Lenzart ROES Tips

Perfect Your Preferences
Check your initial set up of the choices to make sure you activated (or de-activated) the ones that will work best for you. Often, after using Lenzart ROES for a while, you may find that you want to make a few changes.

Sizes Palette Saves Time
Make your ordering so much easier and faster by keeping the Sizes Palette open on your screen. Found under Sizes, just click Show Sizes Palette and adjust the size and location of the box where it works best for you. This will also allow you to see all the layouts of different slimlines, composites, etc. that are available.

Pro Tools Caution
These tools are great time savers, but be careful. Locking in options or quantities that are not correct on every order can be an expensive mistake.

Customized Thumbnails
Make your thumbnails bigger or smaller by clicking on the Zoom button below the images and moving the slider to the right or left and sort them by dragging and dropping them. Also, right click your mouse over the thumbnails for tons of options, like renaming (control click if you’re on a MAC).

Fast Proof Ordering
Speed up the ordering of your proofs by clicking on your first thumbnail and while holding down the shift key, click on the last. Now all your thumbnails have been selected - click and hold your mouse over any of them, and drag them over to your template.

Ordering Tones
Want to order B&W, sepia, blue or red tone prints? You do not have to convert the files yourself first - just select your tone in Options - instant conversion!

Cropping Time Saver
Don’t waste your time (or image quality) cropping your images before bringing them into ROES. You’ve got infinite cropping and rotation right at your fingertips in Lenzart ROES.

Save This Incomplete Order
Creating a large order that you don’t want to lose before you’re finished, or simply out of time? Save the order before it’s complete by clicking Open and Save, then Save This Incomplete Order. Then, when you’re ready to work on it again, click Open and Save, Open an Incomplete Order.

Review Order
This is so important. Before you send that order, take a few minutes to check your Order Review and Confirmation. Look for proper quantities, that the correct options have been ordered, and that the cropping is correct. This last review can save a lot of waste and confusion - these orders go almost instantly into production as soon as we receive them. If corrections are needed, it can be done by either clicking on Edit Item or Delete Item.

Order Confirmation
When an order is sent to the lab, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you put in My Information. Not only will this email confirm the order has been received, but it will also provide the 7 digit lab order number which is necessary for any communication to the lab concerning that particular order. If you have not received this email, the order may not have been received at Lenzart and you should contact the lab.
